G-tokyo / α Exhibition
The acquisition of art is the quintessential art fair experience. The G-tokyo /α Exhibition has been designed to help a wider audience enjoy the pleasure of purchasing art and the joy of owning it, and thus will feature works available at an accessible price and size with a focus on new pieces by emerging artists selected by top galleries; some of the brightest stars of today’s contemporary art scene.

A special display will be provided by the young gallery Nanzuka, an important new member of the capital’s contemporary art scene and fresh face at G-tokyo.
Nanzuka will present an installation comprised of a number of CRT monitors featuring animated work from 1971-1975 by Keiichi Tanaami.

Presentations for G-tokyo 2012 confirmed!
Artwork created for exhibition at G-tokyo 2012 has been confirmed and the content reaffirms the strength of the fair while promising an abundance of the quality of work that connoisseurs have come to expect. G-tokyo will feature new work from today’s most relevant artists, engaging themed exhibitions, and several artists from abroad making their Japanese debut. G-tokyo 2012 will offer a place to acquire together with an art experience to savor.
